Plan 9™ from User Space (aka plan9port) is a port of many Plan 9 programs from their native Plan 9 environment to Unix-like operating systems; supported to compile on systems Linux® (x86, x86-64, PowerPC, and ARM), FreeBSD® (x86, x86-64), Mac OS/X® (x86 and Power PC), NetBSD® (x86 and PowerPC), OpenBSD® (x86 and PowerPC) and Solaris® (x86, x86-64 and Sparc).
A comprehensive documentation, is available in the sources, but you
need to run a successful
install(1)
first. After that try, “9 man 1 intro” obviously without
quotes. An on-line manual page
intro(1) contains
a list of man(1) pages that
describe new features or differences from native Plan 9. See sidebar for
links to an index of manual and other on-line doucuments.
